Ethos and Values

We are proud to be part of the Salford community and are committed to striving for excellence while helping every individual reach their full potential. Our ethos is built on tolerance, mutual respect, honesty, and cooperation. Our staff promote self‑discipline, self‑respect and support students in developing the skills to make positive, informed choices. This is embedded throughout our academy’s REACT values.

All students and staff work towards excellence and live our REACT values - Responsibility, Excellence, Aspiration, Commitment, and Teamwork - which shape every aspect of our curriculum and academy life.

We are passionate about removing barriers to learning and championing diversity and tolerance across the academy. Our comprehensive personal development programme, Aspire, supports every area of students’ wider growth and wellbeing.

Our Vision

Our vision is to provide an excellent education for all our students, bringing out the best in them and preparing them for life after school. We aim to provide an education which inspires, excites and provides the knowledge, understanding and skills that students need for success in the future. We are committed to delivering outstanding Academic and Character Education and deliver leadership, careers, social, and cultural opportunities for all our students through our Student Charter.

Pupils make a valuable contribution to the life of the school. This is particularly evident in the work of the prefects. Pupils spoke highly of the rewards programme. Disadvantaged pupils, and those pupils with SEND, engage fully in all aspects of school life.
